The Tascam DR 10Cs can be used either independently or with a wireless transmitter. When used with a transmitter, the unit acts as a security backup against wireless network interruptions during recording.
The recorder is lightweight and works for hours with a single AAA battery. Record on a standard micro SD card. Its Dual Recording function records a safety audio track at a lower level, so if the main track is distorted, you can have an audio backup without clipping.
The Tascam DR 10Cs can be connected between the microphone and a transmitter of a wireless system from a supported manufacturer. Simply connect the microphone to the recorder and use the supplied cable to connect it to the transmitter. This configuration is ideal for use as a backup recorder, ensuring audio capture even when the signal sent through the wireless system is interrupted.
The DR 10Cs is compact, stands in the palm of your hand and has a weight of 51 grams. Also, it is designed to be transported as a single unit with the transmitter including a silicone strap that can be used to attach it to the transmitter and a belt clip, which allows different options depending on the situation.
The infrared transmission function allows you to easily transmit settings from one DR 10Cs to another. When using multiple units, you can copy the settings of one unit, which has already been set, to other units.
